Victorian central foot table in walnut root with particular sailing mechanism. The plan has a floral inlay in both the center and on the edge and is separated from four hearts in walnut root in a maple reserve. The central trunk bearing a finely sculpted carving is supported by three feet to Cabriolet ending with volute leaves and curl. Historical notes: Col term Victorian period indicates the kingdom of the great Queen Vittoria, who ruled England from 1837 to 1901: period of great changes and better living conditions, these seventy years are also characterized for a greater rigor in every aspect of life, including decor. The Victorian, original and inimitable style was born, which became the English style par excellence, badge of the new bourgeois class.
