Impressive inlaid walnut and gilt dining tables of grand proportions. We are pleased to offer this table of magnificent proportions, which could function as a entrance/lobby center piece or a dining table. We believe this table was made as a one off for a film. Consisting of 7 parts, 3 top sections and 4 pedestal bases, fixed in place by bolts. Top surface with a main matched walnut veneer top, inlaid with a geometric birch design of scrolls and swags, surrounded by a further birch and boxwood border. Deep carved and moulded border presented in a gilt finish. Top is raised on 4 gilt pedestal bases, each with a central bulbous stem and scrolling supports, decorated with carved acanthus leaf detailing. Standing on scrolled feet. This table would seat an easy 18-20. Overall good condition, some evidence to minor water damage on some of the outer edges which have been photographed. Minor surface marks to woodwork.
