S16 Dining Chair By Galvanitas – Compass Collection – Pair. The classic Dutch compass leg chair was perhaps originally created by Prouve who then inspired a number of beautiful chair designs in the late 1950’s. Friso Kramer and Wim Rietveld designed the result chair in the 1950’s alongside the S16 chair designed and produced by Galvanitas. The S16 came from this creative period with its classic compass leg sub frame, made from a sheet steel frame with a fine laminated and formed seat and back by Pagholz. The chairs are a good comfortable scale and are a design classic. Seat Height 47cm
