Vintage Design
Magnificent and ultra rare pair of Art Nouveau Model 17 side chairs. Design by Michael Thonet for Gebrüder Thonet Vienna. Striking Austrian design from the 1890s. Original beech and bentwood frames with original cane backs and seatings. Ultra rare because of the fact that this version of the Model 17 side chairs have been hand-painted with lines, so-called palisandriert in order to look like rosewood! This wonderful pair of Art Nouveau Model 17 side chairs by Michael Thonet for Gebrüder Thonet Vienna is in very good original condition with a beautiful patina. Marked with original manufacturers label. A real eye-catcher for your home! We will ship this lovely pair in a custom made wooden crate for safe transport when purchased by overseas buyers!
