Vintage Design
The “Togo” designed by Michel Ducaroy (1925-2009) for Ligne Roset consists of three different foam densities and is handmade in eight different fabrics. The leather version is the most widespread version because it takes on a special patina over time. But you can also choose from 899 other fabric and leather colors. The “sofa cushion” was first shown in 1973 on the salon of the Arts Ménager in Paris. with its Shar-Pei-like folds, the “Togo” initially stood out both by experts and the public. Nevertheless, Ducaroy managed to convince the organizers of the fair to give him the René Gabriel Prize for “Innovative and Democratic Furniture”. Since then, the “Togo” has been a cult design and one of Ligne Roset’s best-selling products. A jewel that was only known insiders for a long time. You can find it in the lobby of the “Standard Hotel” in Hollywood or the villa of Lenny Kravitz in Paris.
This Togo Set is a fully restored exhibit. It consists of 5 elements (3-seater, 2-seater, 1-seater, corner and pouf). The color is camel and the material is leather. The set is in a new one.
