Twin daybeds with Bauhaus-style design, chrome-plated tubular steel frame, upholstered seat covered in white cotton and stitching on the seat. Designed by Eileen Gray and produced by Alivar ca. 1990. Very good condition. Measurements in cm 220x90x60h backrest, 43h seat Single sofa can also be purchased. Rare pair of sofas, or sofa beds, designed by artist designer Eileen Grey, unmistakable her clean and very contemporary style, in this case with obvious influences from the Bauhaus school: comfort and practicality in one grand design piece. Perfect for a large living room, a conversation corner but also a playful space, such as a tavern or an attic space used for entertaining.
