Vintage Design
A small piece of furniture with a bohemian charm and a tender heart, this 1900’s worker nevertheless has a very current character. Originally intended for the storage and organization of sewing items, it consists of a box supported by a pretty base all in delicacy. Its tray opens with a flap, concealing clever compartments. The storage possibilities are completed by a drawer, also compartmentalized. Its antique creamy white paint reveals a nice patina that testifies to the life of the little piece of furniture. Perfect for its original use, this antique sewing box will also reveal itself as a surprising little console, side table, plant holder or sofa end. But it is as a small piece of furniture for a lady or a bohemian dressing table that we imagine it today, bringing all its poetry and its dose of femininity in a bedroom or a boudoir.
The worker and old, it dates from the 1900s. It is perfectly functional and nicely patinated. Slight lack of paint is visible, as well as stains and water marks.
