Vintage Design
In 1940 she traveled as an official consultant for industrial design in Japan, however, sat after Japan had entered the war, from 1942 to 1946 in Vietnam firmly. The time of their Exiles took Perriand to learn local weaving and woodwork techniques. So they had to integrate the intention of straw and bamboo in modern design on their return to France.
Back in France Perriand continued working with Le Corbusier and Prouvé. She wore a considerable part of Le Corbusier design Unité d’habitation in Marseille. Until her death in 1999 Perriand remained an influential figure of modern times.
