Secretaire of mahogany with inlaid wood, in great antique condition from the 1840s.

This English secretaire is made of mahogany and comes with a bookcase.

Secretary said “Hung” Restoration mahogany veneer. It opens by a glass door at the top, a flap in the middle and two doors at the bottom, containing a drawer. The theater is filled with 6 drawers of different sizes and the seat is covered with a green leather .. original ball feet at the front and right to the back. Clover Key.

Inlaid French Louis XV style secretaire, curved front and sides. Above portoro marble.
It opens with a secret drawer at the top, a flap and two doors at the bottom.
The interiors are in oak, the desk is covered with an original green leather.
Bronze ornaments: falls, locks and entry keys – all in perfect condition – and print handles.
It is based on the curved front legs ending in bronze hooves and on the straight hind legs.

Perfect condition after restoration. Removal, cleaning and laying of bronzes.

Period Secretary Restoration in walnut bramble veneer and solid walnut endowed partly with a belt drawer opening by two notches below, a flap composed of four thick veneer sheets with lambskin , two identical doors also having developed veneer elements. In the lower part, a plinth conceals another drawer with four walnut bramble leaves as well. This furniture rests on clogs feet.
On the top we find a single solid walnut panel consisting of a tab cup frame.
At the opening, the flap garnished with a green thumbnail leather and golden central pattern, reveals a tabernacle with a high part of a drawer followed with an opening with tablet withdrawal and a set of drawers of different Sizes. Note, two secret drawers are present at the ends and unlocked by an inner mechanism.
In the lower part of this secretary, two doors whose closure is made with walnuts with original hook lock, reveals a shelf and a large drawer closing lock.
Elegant and sober, this secretary has many assets. In addition to the quality of its wood and the work done, it will delight by the beautiful color of its leather, its many storage and its drawers concealed.

Very exclusive secretary from the Prussian North German Biedermeier around 1815.

On the bottom of the furniture with two drawers at the bottom, above it the writing flap, another thrust over it and a hidden head thrust at the top.
The piece of furniture is veneered in excitingly graspated birch wood. Due to the various color changes within the wood and the associated interplay of the colors, we also speak of “flamed” birch.
The beautiful wood is supplemented by blackened strips and beautiful, fire -gowned bronze shells in beautiful quality.

The inside of the writing compartment is veneered in apple tree.
We see a stair -like staircase to a central door that is flanked by pilasters. Pagblades of different sizes and two large compartments with specialist divisions for letters and papers complete the secretary part.

Looked at the piece of furniture from above, we see an old silencet. The secretary was therefore loaded onto the railroad at the “Odertor” train station in Breslau. The goal was probably Berin. We find corresponding mramilies on the back wall.

In terms of craftsmanship, a piece of furniture manufactured in terms of craftsmanship. A true testimony of the high quality of the Prussian furniture building in the early 19th century.

Restored and absolutely suitable everyday condition.

This bureau, crafted around 1770 by the renowned Lorenz Nielsen, features elaborate flower detailing and is presumptively created for a Danish castle – an impressive two-part structure of distinctively Danish character.

Simple 2-piece secretary combination. Surfaces veneered in walnut. Lower part with lockable double doors, light veneer inside. Top piece with secretary (depth upper part 28cm). Interior also in light veneer. Beautiful condition, minor signs of use due to age are present.
