Vintage Design
This is a set of chairs designed by Hans J. Wegner in 1949. This is one of the most iconic pieces of Danish modern furniture design. They are a pair of rare and early model “JH-501” made by cabinetmaker Johannes Hansen in Denmark in the 1960s. The chair has many nicknames, but is often referred to as “The Round Chair”. Both chairs are in beautiful condition with nice patina. Both chairs has been rewoven with best quality rattan cane by Danish cabinetmaker.
