Vintage Gilt Bronze Elephant Cigarette Dispenser / Ashtray

Gilded bronze elephant cigarette dispenser / ashtray. Removable ashtray. Nice details in the base as well as the adornments to the elephant. The elephant wears an apron that is marked “Hai Quan Cong Xuong”, which is a naval shipyard in Saigon, South Vietnam. Most likely some sort of presentation item. This item is 5″ tall, 7″ wide, and 2.5″ deep, with a weight of 7 lbs.

This item is in very good vintage condition with wear commensurate with age. Wear and loss to the gilding as seen in photos.
